Cavan Calling Christmas
Cavan is calling this Christmas
With many Cavan people the world over unable to travel home for Christmas this year, Cavan Calling is inviting Cavan people and friends of Cavan at home and abroad to record video greetings to friends, family, and fellow Cavan people to be broadcast on the Cavan Calling social media channels this Christmas.
“Many people’s plans to come home for the festive period this year have been disrupted by Covid-19. Being separated from family and friends at this special time of year is difficult, and we hope that by providing this platform for sending a holiday greeting, we can help bring the global Cavan family together this Christmas,” said Chief Executive of Cavan County Council, Tommy Ryan.
Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Cllr Sarah O’Reilly said, “The success of the inaugural Cavan Day illustrated the strong desire Cavan people have to connect with each other, and it is even more important that we help foster these connections at Christmas time.”
